A Langdon resident at the Western Wall

Charity Profile

Langdon Community was established in 2000 by The Langdon Foundation, to provide life opportunities to students graduating from Langdon College.

The Community enables young Jewish adults with learning difficulties/disabilities to live in their own home, find employment, enjoy an active social life and establish a circle of friends.

Langdon as a Charity is fully committed to making Valuing People 2000 a reality for all the people using our services and supports. This important legislation is one of the cornerstones of our work.

We are proud to list amongst our many friends, Ivan Lewis MP Minister for Social Care. Ivan is a keen supporter of the Langdon Mission and has for many years championed the rights of people with learning difficulties/ disabilities.
