Everyone is now back home and settled in to their normal lives after their summer vacations with Langdon Community. Feedback this year has again been very positive with many people wanting to plan the 2009 vacation as soon as possible. 

This year we had lots of planned vacations offering different types of experiences and opportunities enjoying destinations such as: Florida, Cyprus, Holland, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Spain and Wales. Langdon Trustees have restated their commitment to support an annual vacation for every Langdon Person who wishes to participate; few service providers now offer this opportunity. 

We have seen some great photos from all the holidays and have produced a photo CD from each vacation so that people can share the memories. We are also posting out a copy to Parents and the Langdon Staff involved in the trips. 

Pictured is Andrew Berkowicz preparing all the vacation Photo CD's to be distributed to all people involved in each vacation. He has a put a lot of time and effort into the production of the CD's, sorting through thousands of photographs and has done a great job. 

One of Andrew’s key tasks here at Langdon is to compile the Community’s Photo Archive. We started this project three years ago in an attempt to record the day to day life of people here at Langdon Community. We have a photo record of everyone at Community participating in social events, employment, vacations and religious festivals. Here at Langdon we are committed to ensuring that people’s personal histories, achievements and memories are not lost. 

We are looking forward to next years vacations already and hope they will be as much fun as this year.
