Ben and Phil have been in Boston since the 2nd September on the International Exchange Programme with Justice Resource Institute. So far everything has gone to plan and they are gaining valuable experiences from their trip.

During the weekdays Ben has been working alongside the JRI maintenance crew, completing important work around their properties and office. Some of the tasks he has performed are painting and decorating bedrooms, kitchens and garden furniture, repairing faulty doors and patio stairs and gardening.

Ben and Phil have also been taking part in social activities arranged either with JRI or through their people. They were invited to a Shabbat Dinner on the 5th September by a JRI client and their parents, they attended a BBQ at a local Synagogue to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and have been invited to several of the JRI clients homes for dinner and to 'hang out'.

They have also been taking full advantage of their free time outside their working hours by visiting famous Boston landmarks, such as Boston State House, the SkyWalk View on the 50th floor of the Prudential Tower, Quincy Market and Fanuiel Hall. They have also experienced their first Baseball game, going to Fenway Park to watch the Boston Red Sox, who unfortunately lost. And they still have found time to indulge in the American food and shopping Malls.
