As part of our International Exchange Programme we are pleased to announce the establishment of a partner arrangement with TILL and their Ambassador Program.  TILL is an innovative organisation that is committed "to supporting people with learning difficulties/disabilities to have equality of life opportunities" and are therefore very similar to Langdon in their ethos and work.

This is a month long work exchange programme for the whole of March.  Two of our Langdon employees are visiting and working at programmes in the Greater Boston area of Massachusetts exchanging roles with two employees from TILL who are spending two weeks in Manchester and two weeks in London sharing information about services both in England and the United States.  We are very pleased to extend a warm Langdon welcome to:

Tom Graef who has worked at TILL for three years as a case manager in their Specialised Home Care Department.  He provides support to adults who live with life share companions.  Before TILL, Tom spent several years in website design and in other human service roles.  He is originally from Arizona and enjoys gardening and sailing in his free time.  Tom is enthusiastic about working with Langdon Community and building a partnership for mutual exploration of the provision of service and support.

And Matt Guidi who has worked for TILL for three years in the Family Support Department.  He provides case management and behavioural recommendations to families who have children with special needs.  Before joining TILL, Matt was employed as a Job Coach and an After School Co-ordinator.  He is originally from Massachusetts and spends his free time writing and performing hip hop music.  Matt is interested in learning and experiencing the cultural differences in working with individuals with special needs.

We also have Dafna Krouk-Gordon, President of TILL and Theresa Robinson who is a Programme Co-ordinator in New Hampshire TILL  services office and manages what they call Life Share, services for people with autism and residential alternatives using individual supports  - www.tillinc.org They are with us from Monday morning until Thursday afternoon on a fact finding trip.
