A party of 20+ Langdon people turned up at St Margaret’s Church  to help tidy up the yard & paint the Church hut. Many other volunteers turned up to work alongside our young People. Once the clear up was completed, everyone got together to enjoy a nice rest and a selection of kosher snacks, tea & biscuits.

Mitzvah Day gives our young People an opportunity for them to give something back, not financially but by giving up their time to do something worthwhile for someone else. What makes this project different is that they are moving outside the Jewish Community & working with the congregation of a C of E Church (something Mitzvah Day UK (a Jewish project) wishes to promote).
