Justice Resource Institute (JRI)
Langdon and JRI took part in the first International Exchange Programme. This involved a Langdon person being sent to work in Boston for 3 weeks with JRI. This was a great success and plans have been made for Langdon to host People from JRI.
JRI offer a great service in Boston, Massachusetts, to adults with learning difficulties. Their staff are very welcoming and always available to help.
Toward Independent Living and Learning (TILL) Inc.
TILL is a private, not-for-profit human service agency, established in 1980. It provides a comprehensive range of services throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Thier innovative services meet the needs of individuals of all ages with mental retardation, mental health, physical handicaps, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, including Asperger's Syndrome, emotional problems, and brain injuries.
Langdons aim is to establish a link with TILL that offers opportunities to take part in International Exchanges for both organisations People and Staff.
Nitzan, the Israeli Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities, is Israel's leading resource for families and people living with learning and related disabilities. Nitzan was founded in 1964 by parents and volunteers and has grown steadily ever since. Now with 35 branches nationwide, Nitzan is the only non-profit organization in Israel providing professional assessment and services to persons with learning disabilities throughout the country.
