Alison has spent most of her career working in residential and day service settings for adults with learning disability/difficulties. Alison previously worked for Wigan Social Services for sixteen years and some of which she worked a similar role relating to employment. Alison holds a certificate in Teaching People with learning disabilities as well as a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care.
